USB Device Requires More Power

I get this warning, however it has to do with one of my kids damaging the port.

We don’t need the port.

Is there a way to disconnect that port because otherwise the tv works perfectly.

it’s a Sharp Roku Tv.

You may be able to straighten out the pins inside the USB port. (the crushed/bent pins are likely causing a ground fault which is triggering this error).

Other users reportedly just yanked out the port when having this issue, but personally I would take the TV apart and desolder the connection if straightening the pins didn't work.
