Switching input with Alexa display a message at the bottom of the screen and won’t go away
So when I try to change my tv’s input with Alexa’s , it works, but it display a black text box at the bottom of the screen and it’s written “ switching input to __ (wtv input I asked Alexa to)” and this text box won’t go away unless I press the “⬅️” button on my Roku remote, which kinda ruin the whole point of asking Alexa. I don’t have this problem when I change the input myself with the remote or when I ask Alexa to turn my tv on, just when I ask to change input.

Re: Switching input with Alexa display a message at the bottom of the screen and won’t go away
Hi @Tourlou,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We will be more than happy to investigate this issue you had with Alexa since it displays a message at the bottom of the screen and does not go away. Can you please provide the following information below?
- Could you send us a photo?
- What Roku device are you using right now? (Roku Express, Roku streaming stick, Roku Ultra, Roku streambar, Roku TV-Specify)
In the meantime, you can check out this support article on using Amazon Alexa to control your Roku streaming device.
