Wanted to watch Ford vs Ferrari.  Ruku search showed i needed a Disney plus subscription.  Signed up for Disney+ and Disney + says I need a Hulu subscription.

Re: Ruku search option misleading

Hi @Davidw1,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about this concern with the Roku search. We're happy to assist you further.

Roku Search recommends paid channels or requires a subscription because it aggregates content from participating channels into a single search feed. This allows channels to increase engagement, drive users to their channel, and convert searches into subscriptions and rentals.

Roku offers over 350 free channels and some paid channels. Users pay only for subscriptions to apps like Netflix, cable-replacement services like Sling TV, or movie and TV show rentals from services like Prime Video or Apple TV.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to assist you.

Best regards,
John
