I have tried every setting and can't get Roku to stop making constant announcements.  it's very loud; particularly when I use the Roku remote to turn television on or off.  This is really annoying.

Roku talking or not is controlled by the screen read feature

However, since you’re getting announcements of volume, I would guess that you have a similar feature enabled in your TV.  You’ll need to use your TV remote to navigate its accessibility features to turn that off.
