Re: Roku disables player with attempt to coerce arbitration agreement

Report it to the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, your state ATT General, Congressmen and women.  Do not let these criminal companies get away with it by just complaining on their community board.  Regulating these companies is the ONLY way to stop this mess and you won't get that without making your voice heard!  People, you have a legitimate right to access your own television.  Start fighting back or you'll forever be dealing with things like this one bricking your televisions!
It takes only 5 minutes to file a legitimate complaint against these companies misusing their powers to force you to accept their terms.
Write one, just one simple complaint and then copy/paste it into every avenue you can get the word out against these illegal practices.    Take a stand!   There is power in numbers!  The more voices are lifted, the bigger chance we'll have to be heard!

Re: Class action laws--t against roku.

It's that kind of response that allows these companies to do anything they want.  A class action suit is usually taken on a contingency basis.  If OP succeeds in gettng someone to accept this suit, there's a very good chance that they can get policies changed so these companies can't force you to agree with them "or else", like this one did in bricking the tvs running their programming.

Re: Dispute terms resolution update

I'd call this a breach of contract.  We bought the device now we can no longer use it?

How did you fix this?  I’ve tried restarting, disconnecting, using app,  but still nothing.

Re: Class action laws--t against roku.

@o2night

Just being realistic. IMHO the chance of this ever being resolved the way you want are slim and none. For example, computer software. Don't agree to the terms? You can't install and use it. As I've said before this kind of terms of use is pretty much standard. So, good luck.
