There is only one app in the Roku channel store that appears when you search for a web browser. It's called "Search Browser Website Image" and it says that it "converts website URLs into stunning images." And at the bottom of the description it states "Note: This channel does not provide a browsing experience; it displays static images of web content only."

There is no web browser available for Roku devices.

Screen casting doesn't really a good option if you want to be using your phone for other things while web browsing.

So the Roku Ultra is next to no benefit for most. No KAYO no VLC player, just the same streaming apps minus a few. KAYO in particular is a very must have app

A Roku is a benefit to the vast majority of users. VLC made the decision to not provide an app on Roku because it uses a different programming language than they use for other devices. I have no idea what KAYO is, other than the call letters of a radio station in the Seattle area. My guess is (after a web search) is KAYO Sports streaming app. Again, that's a decision of KAYO to not support Roku. Roku does not create apps for 3rd party providers. Believe it or not, sports streaming is not a priority for many users.

The reason there's no web browser has been provided numerous times in this thread. It's simply not practical to use a device like a Roku for web browsing.
