Jump to solution

Hey, @Pastorj99.

Thanks for reaching out here!

We completely understand that you've done the troubleshooting steps several times, and the issues still continue. We'll try to take a closer look.

To help us dig deeper, could you tell us the exact behavior of the Photo Streams on your Roku?

  • Are there any error messages?
  • What Roku device is affected?
  • Did you receive any software updates before this happened?
  • Photo or short video of the issue.

Please get back to us soon!

Best,

It still does not show my uploaded or linked photos as a screensaver, even though they all show up in the Roku Photo Stream on my app/account. Please help. I have tried everything suggested in these threads to try and resolve this. Here are my device/account details. Thanks.

Model: 4800X - Roku Ultra
Serial number: X010008RT4R7 (SO2A20DRT4R7)
Software version: 14.5.4 • build 5934-C2
GC version: 13.6.13
Timestamp: 2025-04-05T22:05:03Z
Issue ID R7-136-685

I also have the same problem. Sometimes I'm able to add the photos, and sometimes I am not. I don't know if it's because the photos come from different albums? Or maybe it's because the app is from Android and not iOS? I would also appreciate a fix for this.

@Jb234 @nedwitham603

We understand that you’ve tried the troubleshooting mentioned above, but the issues are still happening.

Can you fill us in on how the Photo Streams are acting on the Roku device? Are there any error messages showing up? Did you happen to get any software updates right before this started? A quick photo or video of the issue would be super helpful too!

Please get back to us soon!

@RokuJharra-Q @What's the point in them providing this detail? These issues have been persistent for years, it's obviously not tied to a specific upgrade 🙄 how about you read through the MANY threads detailing people's issues and their responses that have forever gone unanswered?

This is still happening! tried all the fixes and none work, clearly a problem with the app.

I have over 400 photos uploaded, and it only plays the same 1st 100 in the group. You can view them

in the app, but when you preview or the app runs, it only shows the same 100. I've seen posts about this from 2 years ago, either fix the app or take it down. Horrible job ROKU, I would expect more. Now looking for other streaming options.

Thanks for keeping us posted, @colecu32

To help us look into this more, could you share the following info?

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)

We look forward to your responses and gathering your details.
