The new layout is disappointing. Bring back Swipe
Hi @brndpggrn3,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We would like to learn more about your concern. Could you please provide additional details about the new layout you are referring to?
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to your response.

Couldn’t agree more. Please bring back Swipe!
This is the new layout they’re referring to. The “volume up/down” and the “+/-“ handlebar controls appeared with the newest app version, and the option for “swipe controls” is no longer available. This is really aggravating because swipe controls have been around for a long time, and they make it easy to navigate without looking down at my phone.
If you click on that little gear icon (controls) next to the keyboard in the upper left, are you not presented the options for "traditional" and "swipe" under Remote Type ?
I am not seeing the handlebar volume change to my app for Android 13 though. (app ver. 11.1.0.4045211).
Nope. The option is gone now. I’m running 11.3.0 on iOS.
Thanks for providing the screenshots. That should allow @RokuRiamie-D the info needed to forward to the Roku team to address.
I understand there is a new layout and the swipe option for the remote is supposed to have gone away. I'm disappointed, but that's fine. What's a little less fine is that on my app, it's not gone away. It's just stopped working. And, because it is supposed to have gone away, the option to change my layout to buttons is gone as well. What's up with that? Do I need to reinstall the whole app to get a remote that works now? Is this an Android vs iPhone thing?
Hi Community users,

Agreed! Please bring back the swipe remote! This traditional remote drives me crazy. And now being forced to use it…not a fan. Give us the option please.
