How can I remove the aquatic life icon from the home screen without deleting the app?

Do you mean the theme icon from the home screen? If so, we believe there's no option to hide that unless you remove the theme. We suggest that you make use of the "move app" option instead and place the icon below if you don't like seeing it on your home screen.
