Pressing Home button on Roku 4850R does not force close apps

Bought a new Roku Ultra 4850R. It does not close/exit an app by pressing the home button as all my other Rokus do. In order to do this for instance on the YouTube TV app, you must press the back button until the you see the option to exit the app. This is extremely annoying and will be returning the item if there is not a fix soon.

Re: Pressing Home button on Roku 4850R does not force close apps

It's a "feature".  It's called "instant resume" and it's saving the state of the app so that it can be restored the next time the app is launched.  The app is "closed" in that it's no longer running.  It can't be disabled in the current software.  Whether an option will be given in a later release is anyone's guess.  So far the Youtube app is only one that I know of that has taken advantage of this "feature".
