I’ve have a Roku Ultra in our living room for several months now. There have been many glitches that are driving me nuts, but this is really making me mad. I need to change the parental controls on the Roku, but they are COMPLETELY missing from the settings menu. I have looked in every nook and cranny just in case it was moved from the settings menu into a sub category, and I can’t find it. I checked for updates and it says it’s up to date. I did a system restart, and it’s still not showing up. Is there a way to get them back??
I thought all parental controls (what little there are) are set in your account at https://my.roku.com.
I just did much more extensive parental controls on a Roku TV. But my Roku Ultra doesn’t seem to have the same settings.
Thanks for taking the time to share it here in the Roku Community, @AmMac!
We understand how important it is to have Parental controls enabled on your Roku, and we're here to help.
Please note that parental controls are applied at the account level. When you enable this feature on your Roku accounts, it will automatically be activated on all devices linked to that account.
To get more information about it, we would suggest visiting this support article: How to block content using parental controls.
Please let us know your thoughts.
Best,
Emman
This can sometimes resolve weird glitches like this. Before doing that, make sure to note any settings or accounts you want to keep. If that doesn't work, reaching out to Roku support might be the best next step—they may be able to guide you through a deeper troubleshooting process.
