One of my Rokus has updated itself to version 12.

It will now stop playback even if Bandwidth Saver is disabled.

One of the members of my household uses the Roku Media Player to stream from our home DVR, while sleeping. Before version 12, this worked as it should. Now, with version 12, playback stops after some time, even with Bandwidth Saver disabled, and this is making that user very unhappy.

The unit that is experiencing trouble: Roku Premiere+ 4630X.

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community regarding the issue you are experiencing with content playback stopping after your Roku device updated to OS 12.0.

We would be more than happy to look further into this issue, but we will need more details about what you are seeing. Can you please provide us with the following information:

• software OS/version (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
• how are you powering the Roku device
• how is the DVR setup
• tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID)

Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate. We look forward to hearing back from you.
