This has to be a joke. One of the most expensive of the "ROKU" devices, the Ultra (almost $100) says "sleep timer isn't available on this device" SERIOUSLY!?!?! What freakin "device" is it on? How much FREAKIN money do I have to spend to get a 1985 style "Feature"? What a rip off and what a JOKE. Junk. Expensive JUNK
You can always try using the Sleep Timer on your TV. (this will turn your TV off at the prescribed time).
For the Roku device itself, if you enable Bandwidth Saver (Settings/Network/Bandwidth Saver), this setting will stop all streaming after 4 hours.
If you want both the Roku device and the TV to turn off completely at the same time, you can always add a timer device at the wall outlet or use a Smart Plug device at the wall outlet. (Some can be programmed directly at wall. ie. pushing a button for 1 hr, 2hrs, etc. Others can be controlled via a remote or mobile app).
Really need to look at a Roku device the same way you would look at a VCR, DVD player, gaming device. It is just an accessory meant for streaming. May need to add other devices (timers, smart plugs, speakers, adapters, etc) in order to customize or add features that do not inherently come with the device.
-----
Since Roku devices are designed to be powered at all times in order to receive software and channel updates, users should perform a manual System Update occasionally (Settings/System/Software Update) if using timers or other types of switches that interrupt power in case they miss the automatic scheduled updates that would otherwise be received.
Sleep Timers are currently only available via a RokuTV (a TV with an integrated Roku OS), not the standalone Roku Streaming devices connected to a TV via HDMI.
