I recently installed the Ruku streaming Stick 4k. All went well with the 3xceptionof some annoying icons at the top left corner of the TV screen. Each one is about 1.5" x 1".
1. Series 4
2. Widecolor enhancer Plus
3. Connectshare with a USB picture
4. HDMI X 2 (is this due to having to use a HDMI right angle adapter.?
Either way how do I get these to remove permanently?
Did you also get a new TV? Is it in store mode? I've never seen anything like that coming from a Roku device.
I have the same issue! It is driving me nuts. TV and Roku Ultra LY were hooked up and working fine for several months. Then these icons appeared on top left corner of tv screen - about a week or 2 ago.
Need to know how to get rid of this. Very irritating.
@Tuckahoe39, there's no reason to believe it's coming from your Roku. It most likely has something to do with a TV setting.
This happen to me as well after I did a upgrade on my device, its nothing on my tv that caused this, it was fine till the upgrade. I tried a factory reset that did not help.
@vc9, can you post a picture of your TV screen?
I will take a picture of it, where do you want me to post it
When I search for the terms mentioned in the first post, I get a lot of links to Samsung TVs, including this link showing how to take the TV out of store mode:
On my Samsung there is no store mode
Yep – ToC (Touch of Color) is another Samsung thing (referring to the bezel/case design) of a few years ago. Likewise if you search for "connect share movie" you get a lot of Samsung links. That's your TV doing that. If not store mode how about demo mode?
