Hi @Claxbruce,
We appreciate you for posting and welcome to the Roku Community.
Thank you so much for your feedback. In the following system update, there will be a user-preference system interface where you will have options to set a number of columns on your channel lists as well as hide Home selections. For the time being, it is being worked on and finalizing its release.
All the best,
Kash
@RokuTakashi - Thank you for the update. I have a question. Would there be a security option to prevent someone from enabling Continue Watching? I ask because what would prevent a child or guest from enabling it?
Hi @BronxKid167,
Thanks for keeping us posted here in the Roku Community!
We always aim to provide our customers with the best streaming experience and convenience when using our services. Please be advised that on the next software update, you can only hide or show the "Continue Watching" feature, and there is no security option as of now. However, there will be an option where you can remove content from the row.
Thank you so much for your feedback, and we value your input.
Kind regards,
Eunice
@RokuEuniceL & @RokuTakashi - In today's environment there are a lot of content that is not appropriate for kids. Your Dev team should look into having security setting in future updates and Continue Watching should be under it.
Thanks for the update, @BronxKid167
We'll take note of this, and we truly appreciate your time and effort in discussing this feedback with us. Rest assured that this will be passed over to the team for review.
We hope the best for you.
Regards,
Kash
Managing "Continue Watching" is the most frustrating and rediculous experience. I find it odd that I can add/remove every other feature on my Home Screen EXCEPT 'Continue Watching'. The * 'remove from' selection doesn't do anything.
I've had Roku since the beginning, but this situation has me seriously considering pulling a firestick I was gifted out of a drawer and giving it a go. I bet that would get rid of 'Continue Watching".
Thank you!!! Your suggestions are working so far. I did all of them, but the very last one. I think removing the ROKU app. helped the most. Again, thank you.
How long does it take your programmers to implement such a simple fix? A competent programmer could do this in 15 minutes. A change-management system run by someone qualified for the job could roll it out to customers in a day. The executive in charge of this fustercluck should be escorted from the building.
Awesome, super helpful info on how to clear the shows from that section.
We Appreciate you @Gotothebeach 👏👏👏
My TCL Roku TV has had at least 2 software updates since Roku responded to this thread and none of the promised changes have been implemented.
