Hi,
I have disabled the power saving mode, screensaver, and disconnected the TV power, but even with YouTube's 24-hour live stream running, the app closes after a few hours and returns to the home screen. How can I stop Roku from closing the app until I press the power button?
Thank you!
They (Youtube) may have something that pops up and asks if anyone is still watching. If that's true, there's no way to disable it.
Did you turn off the Bandwidth Saver in Settings/Network/Bandwidth Saver? It terminates an app after 4 hours of no remote activity.

Apparently you can specify a YouTube timeout time up to 24 hours.
Found on Reddit:
"When watching, click down twice. Go to the three dot menu all the way to the left. You’ll see Auto-pause; click this and change to “after 24 hours.”"
I experienced this issue today. I turned “bandwidth” saver off. Hopefully this works.
Thanks for chiming in, @DonnaJack!
Please let us know if the issue is resolved after you use the workaround. If not, kindly inform us so we can assist you further.
