I have a Roku account with two subscriptions and Roku units for my two smart TVs. I am 79 and technologically illiterate. How do I connect with Roku on my Ipad?
Christine
What is it you are trying to do by connecting your iPad to the Roku?
If you want to view the content from your Roku on your iPad screen, there is not a way to do that. The best you can do is install the Roku app from the Apple App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/roku/id482066631. This is mainly intended as an app allowing you to control the Roku using your iPad as an additional remote, but it does have a feature where you can view only The Roku Channel on the iPad. It only allows you to view the basic channels from The Roku Channel, not any subscriptions you may have that you view through The Roku Channel.
If, instead, you want to view the content that is on you iPad via your Roku so you can see it on a larger screen, that is what the Airplay function is for. See this article: https://support.roku.com/article/360057488733
