Fullscreen video ad - flashing light/loud sound warning?

I thought I was already sufficiently angry over the obligatory, full screen video ads recently, but my daughter pointed out something I had not considered.

She suffers from migraine headaches, and sometimes they can be triggered by bright, flashing lights or sudden loud sounds.  Her television is only used as a Roku video-streaming host.  When she turned hers on that fateful night, the sudden barrage of light and noise, instead of her familiar, trusted home screen was enough to trigger a migraine.

When a show or movie to includes such displays of light and noise, there is a warning prior to the actual content, giving her time to take precautions.  She got NO such warning - and her only recourse was to turn off her TV.  Even the least logical among us can probably figure out that driving people like her (and epileptics, and others) to turn off their devices in self-defense is going to make showing them ads truly challenging.

Just another aspect of this "experiment" that you might want to chew over prior to any future repeats of this experiment.
