Does model G840X no longer exist? I can't update a TV I bought

Frustrated. I went through the software update troubleshooter 100x and finally figured out where to go for a USB version of the update... but when I go to tvupdate.roku.com and I enter the model and serial number of my TV, it says my model doesn't exist.  I've had this TV just under a year.  This is ridiculous.  What can I do?

Re: Does model G840X no longer exist? I can't update a TV I bought

Are you entering your Roku serial number (as displayed under Settings->System->About) or your onn serial number?  If I enter your model number and my TCL TV Roku serial number (just to enter a valid serial number) I get back:

"Confirmation - 55" onn. Roku TV (UHD)
Your Roku TV is a onn. model 100012586-CA. Is this correct?"
