Devices won’t connect on the iPhone remote

I cannot get my two televisions to connect to my Roku remote on my iPhone. They are listed on the remote and at one time were connected but now they are not. We haven’t changed anything.
I went through all of the troubleshooting items and even entered the IP address manually as noted on the Roku on the tv, and it says it is the incorrect IP address. I don’t know what else to do.

Re: Devices won’t connect on the iPhone remote

Try hunting for a WiFi analyzer app in the Apple store and once installed, check to see which WiFi channels are the most congested. Its important you know how to log into your router or gateway and change settings. Once you identify channels with less congestion, change the router settings to one that isn't being used by others in your area..Do you understand how routers work and can you log into yours and make settings changes? If not, I recommend you Google the specific equipment and find out how 🙂

Re: Devices won’t connect on the iPhone remote

Check your wireless settings in your router and ensure that any security setting that hides connected devices from each other is disabled. It's possible an update turned such a setting on when it had been off previously. Public WiFi has such settings enabled, but on a private network that you want to access it has to be off. Otherwise, the only access your WiFi will have is Internet. Everything within the network will be hidden.
