Re: Found how to get back the missing channel numbers on Roku live TV guide
You're the real mvp. I'm glad the channel numbers are back, but the out of order numbers were screwing with my OCD.

Re: Found how to get back the missing channel numbers on Roku live TV guide
Within the * option, I remember seeing a 'sort channel list' option. I've never used this so I'm not sure that would help you or not.

Re: What has happened to the channel numbers on the streaming channels?
This is by far the dumbest "update" Roku has done, again. I pushed my parents to Roku TVs because of their ease of use and all the streaming NUMBERED channels, and now they are gone. What is this vendetta that Roku has against the numbers? What is it, some 24 year old wet behind the eats MBA came up with this idea? Stop it, bring the numbers back. It isn't that difficult

Re: What has happened to the channel numbers on the streaming channels?
This was posted recently by a moderator:
If you're inquiring about the channel number setting in the Live TV Guide, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Channel logos in your Live TV guide.
- Press the * button to open the Channel Options menu.
- Select the "Sort channel list" setting.
- Choose between "As recommended by Roku" and "By Channel Number".
- Select your preferred option to apply the changes.
By default, this setting is "As recommended by Roku," which removes channel numbers from the Guide display. If you prefer a sequential order that displays channel numbers, select "By Channel Number".

Missing tiles / icons on Home Screen
Replaced defective Roku stick with a new Roku Express. After setup I found several of my apps are missing from the home screen. Tried the following:
1 power cycle the device
2 power cycle both tv and device
3 factory reset of the device
4 manually add the apps
5 exit home screen using the left arrow and return to the home screen waiting 30 seconds
6 switching networks; tried bit 2.4 and 5G
Note: the apps are actually there, if you click on the blank box the icons work.

Re: Missing tiles / icons on Home Screen
As yet I have not heard from Roku support.
I did more testing; replaced my new roku express with an older roku express and everything works properly. Conclusion the firmware or the device is causing the issue.
Does anyone know away to return the device to the previous version of firmware?

Re: Missing tiles / icons on Home Screen
Welcome to the Roku Community, @Jdhjab!
We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention. No worries! We'd be happy to coordinate this with the appropriate Roku team to further investigate the affected Roku devices.
Could you send us a photo of the missing icons or tiles on your Home screen for reference? We'd like to check.
Best regards,
Carly

Re: Missing tiles / icons on Home Screen
Then only thing one has to do to fix this is "DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT" select/install any apps from the Roku setup website when setting up the first time! That is where this unspoken issue is!! Reset the Device to factory, have your Roku account info ready and skip all the Roku website offers and just activate your device and all your apps will load automatically.
None of that reboot, left screen right screen mumbo-jumbo, just don't use Roku site for anything other than activating for the first time, problem solved!!
