Re: Channels are no longer in numerical order. They are in a random order.
Of course I've gone to the home screen & hit the back button countless times, since adding any new Favorites, and nothing changes. So far nothing has changed this helter skelter mess, any ideas?

Re: Channels are no longer in numerical order. They are in a random order.
It may be performing differently on the RokuTV than on Roku devices then. If performing a System Restart (Settings/System/Power/System Restart) which clears cache, does not resolve it when you go into the Guide the next time from the Home Screen, then this is just another Roku OS/RokuTV issue.
I have guests currently (where my RokuTV is located) so can't check if/why performing differently.
I stopped using my RokuTV for daily use because of the little annoyances/headaches it caused me and was banished to a guest room. I now just use the Roku devices connected to dumb TVs.
-----
Roku kind of fought users with returning the channel numbers to the Guide (when they initially removed them), so I think their engineers fail to see the importance of a numerical order. (they almost seem to enjoy the organized chaos of randomness).
Just another Roku user... I am not a Roku employee.

Re: Channels are no longer in numerical order. They are in a random order.
@AvsGunnar I think you're right, as I do have a Roku TV, and it's constantly serving up one frustrating issue after another. Then they go away, then they come back, go away, then new ones occur, like today! Suddenly there's a new row of TV shows across the top of the Guide, and of course, now when you hit the left side button, that used to just show the guide from the channel you're on, it immediately takes you to a completely different show, being the first one in the row ABOVE! To get back, you now have to scroll down, then to see the guide hit the left hand button, and then scroll down to the category you want to see, it's a total mess of a hassle, and a ridiculous time-waster as well!
Plus it instantly disrupts the show you're currently watching, taking you away, forcing us to have to click, click, click, just to get to where we were, and want to be! I know it's these young developers/programmers just tossing more bells & whistles in, just to try and justify their pay, as they sure don't enhance or simplify the user experience.... smh

Re: Channels are no longer in numerical order. They are in a random order.
OMG, when will they stop F**KING with everything? Usually when I turn my TV on it opens on the same channel it was on when I turned it off, not today! It opened on a channel I NEVER watch (WHY?)! And the added banner up at the top is F**KING USELESS! Why should we have to keep clicking around to get to where we ALREADY WERE? I had to go to my favorites so I could get BACK to the channels I usually watch!

Re: Roku There are no numbers on list of channels, why? Missing channel numbers.
I went to the Live TV Guide, pressed the star button, nothing happened. Did not open the Channel Options menu.
