Airplay doesn’t work after my tv updated

It's shame that my TV system updated this morning itself automatically and airplay doesn't work now.

Can Ruko TV fix this up?

Don't even bother asking here. They will never tell you the truth which is that.. 

Screen mirroring no longer works with ANY roku TV.

The ONLY way to do it is to go into advanced settings and literally RESET THE NETWORK. And it'll turn your tv off and on. Do NOT put your wifi back on when the tv comes back on. The only way to screen mirror now is to do it without the wifi. And i don't mean just disconnect the tv from wifi. That won't work either. It only works when you reset the network and stay offline.

Idk what kind of bug this is or why they haven't fixed it. We got a samsung tv and surprise surprise, my phone screen shares just fine! And it's not just my android phone. It was an iphone. A motoroka razr phone. A brand new samsung tablet. Laptops etc. And it's not my certain TV either. Cause we have two completely different brands of TV's. They just both happen to be Roku. Roku is more than aware of this They just don't care.

  1. When did you start having this issue? Was it before or after the software update?
  2. What specific mobile brand/model is not working with the feature?
  3. Roku device or TV model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About).
  4. Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID).

Additionally, we would recommend trying the troubleshooting steps provided by @RokuTakashi in the above post just to check for improvements.

Same issues. I usually AirPlay to my device daily. Not working after update. Please allow to downgrade the version since this one is bugged.

Hello - I am having the issue with my Airplay not playing the audio. Video works fine.  I have tested this on my wife's iPhone 15, my iPhone 14 (which have the latest updates as of 6/23/24). and I have also tested this on my iPad mini 6 which carries the 16.7.2 update. 

My TCL Roku tv is 13.0.0 Build 24062-30

Model 7103X

Device ID 8SF00M160325



Any help in downgrading or upgrading to fix this issue.  I use this feature a lot and very disappointing this has just quit after the update.
