New streambar. 

When watching TV with the (just) streambar the 'centre' sound is fine, but if someone speaks to the side, the audio goes quiet & dull, then the level comes up - until the direction changes again.

watching a performance with 4 judges off camera & a performer - it's a nightmare & I had to revert to the TV speakers 

Never seen this issue with my Sony AV 5.1 amp

I've tried as many configurations as I can, without improvement - it's making the TV speakers the clear winner

- is their a fix?

Thanks for the post. I'm sorry to hear about the experience—that's not what we aim for.

Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
