When using the remote, no specific function, the TV will momentarily freeze then the screen will go to the RDIO app. We have tried turning off the power, getting new remotes, Factory resetting the Roku tv. It does not happen every time, but it does happen a few times every day.
We have googled this and there are many threads and complaints about it. In my opinion, it happens to enough people it should be a known issue.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

I switched to Fire. Not worth all that trouble. Roku is now in the trash.
The same happened to me and I found that it was the Rolu remote that was the problem. Replace the remote or download the Roku App and use your phone or tablet to control your Roku TV or device.
