Hi @Maliska,
Thanks for reaching us here in the Roku Community!
We appreciate your feedback about this and we're sorry for the inconvenience. We'll make sure to forward this over to the concerned team for further review.

I completely agree. These new Categories and Browse boxes are slowing down choosing streaming channels and showing adds for products I'm not interested in. Roku remotes are bad enough - very slow, very directional and non-responsive. These new boxes have eliminate me using the up arrow to get to the bottom of my streaming channels and made the TV much less desirable on the home screen.
If this is about Roku collecting advertising dollars from TV customers I can only say my next TV won't be a Roku product.
Roku used to be a really great company making great products in the early days. Today - not so much anymore...
They (finally) have the option to turn off the Browse and Catagories bars in settings.
(I was linked to a string of 40+ pages of comments about the same topic I guess enough people threatening to start a Roku bonfire at Wrigley Field finally caught their attention.)
Just bought my first ( and last ) Roku tv ( JVC 24” ) and found that when it’s not connected to Wi-Fi I have a mega annoying flashing red led in the centre of the bottom of the screen that you Cannot turn off ( I don’t want to be permanently connected to Wi-Fi )and as this is in the same area as the remote I/r you can not even put tape over it ! Hate it already so will return it for a refund .
I totally understand the annoyance, but Roku didn't build the TV, JVC did. it's like blaming Microsoft because your Dell PC has physical features you don't like. All my Roku devices are Streaming Sticks (6 of them, all still working), and I love em! ... no Roku (OS) TVs.
i will NEVER buy a Roku tv again bc roku won't try to fix issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to agree, the worst customer service, and agents that are very poor at speaking English… hard to understand what they are saying.. have to ask them to repeat themselves constantly, and on top of that don’t know what they are doing.
