Westinghouse Roku Tv Menu Issues

Hey Community,

So I power on my Westinghouse Roku tv with roku streaming remote + and immediately Netflix pops on screen, in bottom left corner this option pops up about using option 1 or option 2 (I don't have a clue what this is or what it means) so I tap to close it and tv doesn't want to respond leaving Netflix app so after it finally leaves Netflix, the home menu where your apps are listed, etc just started doing its own thing making selections in the menu settings and apps list, as it's clicking around some of the apps disappear on the app list then reappear and same within the menu settings while I have no control with roku remote, it finally stops but it starts again going back and forth to Netflix app (which I've never used) and repeating the same behavior again and it's happened 2 more times and now it's back normal. I'm not sure which is the culprit, roku tv, streaming remote or Netflix app or something else.

I'm hoping some of you guys might have an idea as to what might be the issue.

Any advice would be welcomed! Thank you!

Re: Westinghouse Roku Tv Menu Issues

Hi @Sarecee66,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We are glad to hear that your Westinghouse Roku TV is now back to normal. There might be a glitch with your Westinghouse Roku TV, which causes you to lose control of your Roku remote.

Before we proceed, we would like to know if it only happened when you opened Netflix. Additionally, could you please try to check the Software version of your Westinghouse Roku TV You can check it by pulling up your Roku TV home page > scroll and select settings > system > about.
In the meantime, I recommend you try restarting your  Westinghouse Roku TV.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Please keep us posted.

Regards,
Riamie
