Hello there! I have a TLC Roku TV. 43Inch 4k UHD.
Today I tried to hook up a PS4 Pro to my tv. At first I was getting no signal at all, I checked the inputs, tried all three HDMI inputs multiple times each. Purchased a new HDMI cable advertised to be able to carry a 4K 60Hz signal. Tried all three ports again. At this point I needed to make sure it wasn't the PS4, so I connected to my computer monitor with zero issues using the same HDMI Cable. I attempted to boot the PS4 into "Safe mode" several times, it worked perfectly on the computer monitor, no response of any sort on the TV. At this point I went pretty far down the rabbit hole of changing settings and attempting to isolate the issue, and I can say for sure that it is somehow an issue with the tv not recognizing the signal from the PS4. Just used the same HDMI Input to watch a show from a laptop again with zero connectivity issues. There were a couple different points during my troubleshooting that I managed to get a black screen on the tv instead of just "no signal" but I am not able to reliably replicate that.
Additional steps I've already tried:
1: removing the input profiles for all three HDMI Inputs.
2: Factory Reset the Roku TV
3: Found the hidden HDMI menu and tried setting the TV HDCP to 1.4 on all inputs, then reverted to 2.0
4: Set the Output resolution of the PS4 to the lowest possible, then standard, then compatibility mode
5: Tried nearly every other conceivable input setting available on the TV
6: Double checked software was updated on both the TV and the PS4
Not sure what else, if there is anything else to try, but it seems as though there should be a fix, given that the HDMI cord, Port, and PS4 are all working independently of each other.
Any thoughts? I appreciate it
