It's not fixed for me. If I am missing something please explain

how soon will the issue with the catagories be resolved? the community has been waiting 9 months at least.

This has not been solved. As of the Dec 20245 update, the "most recent channels" is just at the top of "all channels" and adds more clicks and friction to use "all channels". Please add a setting to disable the "most recent channels" from even being displayed.
