You can always hide all the unwanted channels except your favorites if you only want to see that. But I like to browse, because I enjoy new shows.

I was correct in my statement , go back and read more carefully.  (But I can't assume it works for all)

I don't understand your logic or "rig-ah-ma-role", try explaining more clearly.  You seem to be saying on your TV, you have to filter and select favorites every time you want to change the channel. Not so for most of us...

That’s good to hear it’s not a mess for you, I gotta check mine when I get a chance. I thought I was the only one who had this random issue but judging by all the replies/comments I get on here, guess not. So this is what it feels like when doves cry…

Same. It would be an effective workaround but I would get major FOMO, lol.

8/26/2022 *Fixed*... on both my Hisense TVs. Channel guide is back to normal, including Channel Options menu "Filter"     🙂

8/13/2022: My (Hisense 58R6E3 TV) OTA "ALL channels" guide far left menu suddenly changed to include "Recents" and "Favorites". I don't want to scroll thru favorites (mine is empty) or Recents. The * Channel options "Filter" is missing - so I can't select "ALL channels" (only). My (Hisense 43R6090G5 TV) works and shows the "Filter" option "ALL channels" correctly.

New search completely sucks.

Totally useless. Cant search for a person. All suggested movies. Go back to the good search.

tell them you don't like the new search ICONs vs lists - or we are going to be stuck with it

If you don't voice your opinion on the new, time consuming and annoying search function (ICON vs listing) it will never change - let them know you don't like it

Good suggestion, though its unlikely to hold much sway - they will likely force the new search on all users regardless (as they already have for some devices/users):

Try contacting Roku more directly & publicly, though its unlikely to hold much sway - they will likely force the new search on all users regardless (as they already have for some devices/users):

Regardless, I recommend (and use) a multi-platform streaming strategy using at least 3 different platforms (one of which is Android TV based to sideload apps if you want) to workaround issues like this, and you can easily obtain competing devices for $20-50 at Walmart/Amazon/etc.
