TCL roku tv overheating please helppp

I have a 44inch TCL Roku TV that i’ve only had since December of 2020, so coming up on 3 years. I don’t use it excessively, really only an hour or two a day, and yet it tells me at least once a week that it’s overheating. I’ve looked on the roku website what to do and all they say is to unplug the device and leave it for a few hours, but it doesn’t solve the problem, only temporarily. Anyone know how to stop this from happening or is my tv just screwed?

Hi @mark808,

Thanks for letting us know about this concern.

For issues with overheating, you'd want to reach out to our TV manufacturer for assistance, as this may be due to faulty internal components.

Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their Roku OS products. You can locate their support contact information here: Contacting Support for Your Roku TV.

If you need further clarification, do not hesitate to inform us.

Sincerely,
Janadee
