Good day all, 

TCL Roku TV - Remote issue - 

Volume buttons / mute button do not function as they are supposed to.

Volume up / volume down / mute pressed alone do nothing.

Pressing both volume buttons simultaneously, goes "Home".  Someone posted that doing this will lock / unlock the volume on the tv.  This was no fix

Pressing the UP and mute simultaneously is like a Page up function.   Pressing Down and Mute simultaneously does nothing.

Solution attempts - New batteries - Reset power to TV (unplugged wait a minute plug back in) - Tried to re-pair remote, no pair button in the remote.  Firmware updated on TV.   Able to control the volume from the ROKU Mobile app on the tv fine so the tv is working.

Wife claims to have hit multiple buttons on the remote when she picked it up and it stopped working from there.   IS there a button combination that changes the remote functionality?  Searched internet found nothing... yet...  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We'll provide options and steps to resolve this issue. To fix this, go to Settings, then select Remote and Accessories. Then select your remote and then setup for IR or CEC. Then, if you hear music, press OK.
