Got this 6 series TCL Roku TV.  Wanted to hook it up to both my soundbar and analog headphones like I did easily with the previous JVC.

But when the headphones are plugged in, the optical audio output to the soundbar is disabled.  Unable to use both soundbar and headphones at the same time as we did before.

I am hearing disabled and this feature enables my wife to listen to the soundbar while I listen at higher volume through the headphones.

Any way to do this with this TV?  Will have to send it back if not.

I had to get an add on box that connects to optical and has separate red and white analogue outputs plus optical pass through on to my sound system.

Pretty poor design on TCL's part.  I had a cheapo ATVIO that did not require this.
