Subwoofer stopped working after two days

I purchased the Roku streambar and subwoofer (model 9203R) this week. Both were working fine until today when the stream at works but the subwoofer won’t even turn on. I’ve tried it in multiple outlets (both located within 10 feet of the Roku stream at and tv), pressed and held the reset button multiple times, and nothing works. There is not a light anywhere on the subwoofer. It literally worked for two days and now it’s dead. I don’t want to have to return the system because the soundbar works nicely. Please advise.

Re: Subwoofer stopped working after two days

I want to share here how I got my  subwoofer to work again after it was completely dead.. No power at all..

I removed the electrical board from the back,,  disconnected the three wires that was attached to the board.. waited a few minutes.. probably 10 minutes and reconnected the wires again to the board, in the order that it was before.. there wire attached to the speaker inside the subwoofer was a little pain because it was really short.. but you can do it .. and  after putting the board back..  I connected the power cable to the wall outlet and IT WORKED,,,  the light in the back of the subwoofer came on and then  I reconnected the subwoofer to the Roku Streambar .. I saved me from having to buy another subwoofer as mine wasn't fried.. Somehow there was some kind of internal charge in the board, preventing it from turning on.. even when disconnected from the power cable ..  Another thing that someone can try is to just unplug it and  leave it like that for a day to see it the charge will fade away and allow the subwoofer to be turned on again, instead of removing the board and disconnecting wires, as I did... Go the easy way first.. and if it doesn't work, then try the method that I used.  hope it works for you..  It is crazy like these devices are built in such a way to mimic being dead after some update or electrical small surge..
