This is not about pairing. I have paired these headphones fine.
I have had 2 other cheap pair of headphones that auto connected perfectly. I decided to upgrade to the Sony WH-XB900N. Pairing went fine. I have them set to auto connect on my Roku Roku Streambar Pro . The problem is they never auto connect. Each time I want to use them I have to go into settings and manually connect them
This same issue was raised back in March 2023. It was marked as "solved" back in 2023 stating we had to wait for the engineers to fix it. That was a novel way to clear the issue from the support queue when it was not solved at all. We are nearing 2 years now. Any chance it will ever get resolved?
Do you have your WH-CB900N Headphones connected to any other devices? You may run into trouble pair the device is paired to another device like an iphone. One thing you could try to deleting the headset from the other device.
One other thought it maybe try doing a factory reset on headphones. I've had success in the past with this but not always, urn off the headset while the USB Type-C cable is disconnected and then press and hold the Custom button for 7 seconds, you may have to hold it for a little longer than 7 seconds. You should see a blue flashing light 4 times.
This operation resets volume settings as well as and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the device and then pair them again.
Those are my two ideas I got for yeah. I wish you all the best. Let me know if you have any success!!!

You were right! I have to apologize to Roku thinking it was their issue. Once I did a factory reset the headphones connect automatically like they should.
Thank you, @Dfresh567
It's not everday I nail it on the first try so thank you for letting me know it worked!
Super happy I could help. If you want to do me a solid and mark my first post as the solution that would be awesome.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
You got it. Thank you.
There it is. Thank you again!
