Hello, I have a TCL Roku TV which had been working fine until a recent software update. I have noticed that the TV takes at least a minute or two to find my 5 GHz wifi network. After doing some reading on this forum, I changed around my channel settings of my 5 GHz network (which has a different SSID than my 2.4 GHz network) and no matter what, when the Roku TV does finally connect, it always thinks it’s on wireless channel 48. Currently, my 5 GHz network is broadcasting on channel 161 and the TV is definitely connected to it, so I can’t explain why the TV says otherwise. I am guessing, although unsure, that this channel discrepancy is what’s causing the TV to take so long to connect to my network in the first place. I have reset the TV, the router, re-entered network settings, and nothing seems to clear this error.
If anyone has any tips, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
