Screen is black on roku tv
my TV plays back drop And screen saver for a time AND CLOSES OR GOES BLACK
This is why ! ! It's your dumb Auto closing Apps if not active It will close any inactive APP
have to push a key on the controller every 3-4 min to keep my screen show active
So many BUGS from this dam fixed time And any APP will just close if there is no interaction or active video
It has been like that for 10+years but not smart enough to just fix it
All because of the Services don't want inactive people holding up there band with
but where are other solutions you can take

Re: Screen is black on roku tv
Hi, @Qwq1.
Greetings from the Roku Community!
Thanks for letting us know about this. Rest assured that we'll look closely into this and suggest some steps you could try.
When auto power savings are enabled, and your compatible Roku player is idle for 20 minutes (meaning it is not streaming content or being controlled by a remote or mobile app), it automatically enters a low-power mode and attempts to power off the TV it is connected to.
To disable this, kindly navigate to your Home screen. Scroll up or down to select Settings > System > Power > Auto power savings > Uncheck the box next to After 20 minutes of no interaction.
Here's the support article dedicated to this: How to disable auto power savings on your Roku® streaming player
We hope you find this information helpful.
Best regards,
Carly
