Despite the internet proclaiming the 3930X will do 5G mine refuse to find the 5G WiFi network on my LinkSys router. 2.4GHz works fine. I’ve tried changing the channel from Auto to 48 as suggested in a previous post but that didnt help. What’s the problem?

Where did you see that the 3930 supported 5GHz Wi-Fi?  That would be erroneous.  The 3930 is single-band (2.4Ghz only).
