Roku soundbar blinking amber light + no audio

I’ve had a Roku 9101X Soundbar for a few years ago and a few months ago it started blinking an amber colored light non-stop, 24 hours a day. I finally got around to trying to troubleshoot and am realizing the sound bar has no audio. All audio on the tv (Hisense) goes through the tv speakers, and when I switch it to the HDMI Arc for the soundbar I lose all audio.

I’ve tried the reset button, unplugging from power for 1 minute, and switching the HDMI cable but still no change. Does anyone know how to fix this??

Re: Roku soundbar blinking amber light + no audio

Hello and welcome to the Roku Community, @DMcKay!

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding your Roku sound bar. We truly appreciate your input and are here to assist you.

It’s important to note that the amber light on your Roku device signifies that it is currently not connected to the internet. We kindly suggest that you restart both your internet router and Roku device. You can do this by unplugging them from the power source, waiting a moment, and then plugging them back in. This may help resolve the issue.

Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.

Thanks,
Jharra
