Roku TV closes Netflix? please help

Hello all, as the title says my Roku TV has been closing Netflix the past couple of days. It's not crashing it's closing and going back to the main Roku menu. Has anyone ever experienced this? It's frustrating and I haven't found a real fix for it as of yet..

Re: Roku TV closes Netflix? please help

Hi @itadori98,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We're glad to assist you with your problem on Netflix. In some cases, removing the channel and then reinstalling it may help. Please follow the steps below:
1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
2. Restart your Roku device: From Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store or Search and add the channel again.
Let us know if this works for you!
All the best,
Eunice

Re: Roku TV closes Netflix? please help

Hi @Cdiket,

Thanks for keeping us posted about this issue on the Netflix channel!

You seem to have taken a ton of fantastic troubleshooting steps at this point. We suggest contacting the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. The channel developers themselves maintain channels on Roku. In this case, an issue within that specific channel likely needs to be addressed with an update from them.

If there's anything else that we can do to assist you, please let us know.

Best regards,
John
