I have a CRA Roku TV. Recently when streaming on the Netflix app the sound is has a lot of static and crackling. I have checked for updates both for the app and a system update to which both were “up to date”. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app and it continues to do the same.
please help.

Aside from the TV's speakers, do you have external speakers? You may also restart the TV: Go to Home > Settings > System > Power > System restart.

This started a few days ago. When it first started I was just watching a show. I tried to change the show to see if that would help but it didn’t until I switched apps. It does come and go but today in particular it was fine for an hour or so but now it’s all static so I’m unable to use Netflix currently because I can’t stand the sound of it.
I have tried switching the audio setting too from auto to different ones but none were any better

My roku sound has worked fine for years, but now I just get crackling sound on netflix and Amazon Prime, and I guess all channels. TV Sound is fine on cable.
