This started happening to me recently and I see that it has been happening to other customers, for a couple of years now. Is this issue fixed? It cost me around $200 when we purchased it, a couple of years ago! It’s obviously not us. It’s a software issue and we need it fixed.

If your Streambar is connected to your TV's HDMI ARC port, there could be a delay before you start to hear audio when the TV is turned on. This delay is caused by your TV setting up the audio stream channel through the HDMI ARC port. You can get rid of this delay by connecting your Streambar to the optical port and regular HDMI port on your TV instead.
Why is there no sound from my Streambar?
If there is no sound playing from your Streambar, try the following steps.

It just goes out on it's ow,. Plug one in and try it. I already ditched it for a Google TV and have not had any sound issues, which is too bad because I loved the sound out of the sound bar. Everything was updated, changed HDMI cables, etc. Did it all. Nothing worked.
Try adjusting the audio settings then perform a factory reset on your Roku Streambar. This can typically be done through the settings menu or by pressing a dedicated reset button on the device.
If you need to restore factory settings to assist with troubleshooting, refer to the guide on how to factory reset your audio devices.
If the issue persists, we would be more than happy to investigate further, but we will need further details. Can you please provide us with the following information:
Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.
We look forward to working with you to help resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Arjiemar
I've done all that except getting you the tracker ID. I'm done with Roku. It's the same response for every problem.
