Roku RCA 50” TV completely failed screen just after Warranty expires
For those shopping for TV’s the RCA Roku TV screen will go “lined” and fuzzy at the top first and then go black and half messed up in 4 to five years. I have looked at all of the discussions and the support all points to, “unplug or factory reset and hope it corrects itself. Otherwise contact RCA, TCL, or Sharp and see if their technicians can help. If it is past the warranty date, they will do nothing.” This is a scam by the manufacturers in collaboration with software updates to force consumers to continue to purchase new products and increase sales. The only way to prevent this is to review the product and purchase from a different manufacturer/software provider, in hopes that they are using the same sales model. If RCA was the quality company that built its name, they would send a new tv and apologize for the trouble.

Re: Roku RCA 50” TV completely failed screen just after Warranty expires
At this point, RCA is simply a trademark used to make people think they're getting a product reminiscent of the quality the original company. It has nothing to do with the original company. RCA Televisions are manufactured by Curtis International Ltd. (Canada).
