Need help for my dogs please help

I like to keep my TV on while I’m away at work, so that my dogs stay calm with not hearing outside noises etc. I want to get rid of DIRECTV which I’ve been using ONLY for this dang reason.

I have tried the settings on the Roku with screensaver and themes. I have tried Hulu and Netflix. All of those settings seem to be correct. For example, I started the Seinfeld series and had it on auto next episode, but once there is no activity (on the remote?) it goes back to the Roku screen- and silence.

Is this even a possibility with the Roku device?

@zapukz2, look for "Bandwidth saver" under the Network settings and disable it.  Some services will prompt to see if anyone is still watching if there's no remote activity for a certain amount of time (no provider is interested in wasting resources on dogs), but you should be able to find something that will stream indefinitely.
