I need to replace my living room TV that has a bad backlight. I have a few TCL Roku TVs already. I’ve mostly been happy with them other than a few small problems. But it looks like TCL is going with Google TV now (and every other manufacturer too). Costco has a TCL 6 series, but it’s the 2020 model. I’ve heard that the Roku Plus Series is comparable to the TCL 5 series. So would the cheaper, newer Roku TV be better than the TCL? It seems like there isn’t a ton of info out there about the Roku Plus since they’re only sold at Best Buy.
