I got some new roku speakers and they sound great with one on each side of me but is it possible to use my tvs speaker along with the wireless speakers?

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Roku speakers are designed to work independently, and they don't support combining with the TV's built-in speakers for a multi-channel audio setup. The Roku TV Wireless Speakers are generally meant to be the primary audio output for your Roku TV. If you want to have both the Roku speakers and the TV's built-in speakers working simultaneously, you would typically need an audio receiver or soundbar with multiple inputs that can handle this configuration. You would connect both the Roku speakers and the TV to the audio receiver or soundbar, and it would manage the audio output to both sets of speakers. However, the specific capabilities of your Roku speakers and your TV may vary, and new features may have been introduced after my last update. I recommend checking the user manual for your Roku speakers and your TV or contacting Roku customer support for the most accurate and up-to-date information on your specific model. They can provide guidance on the available audio settings and configurations.

I lost the sound on my ROKU TV when I setup my PC to access MSNBC using earbuds. Now, even if I unplug my earbuds and turn off my PC, my ROKU TV indicates that my TV speakers are muted. I never muted the TV speakers. I haven't figured out a way to unmute the TV speakers. I even tried resetting the sound by unplugging the TV. Without sound, the ROKU TV is basically useless.

• Please go to the TV's audio settings to change the mode.
• Go to Home on your Roku device
• Navigate to Settings
• Scroll to Audio
• Select Audio Mode
• Confirm that the mode is now set to Auto or stereo.

Thanks for your speedy reply. Unfortunately, my ROKU remains silent. When I pressed the volume controls on the remote, the screen displayed a headphone with a diagonal line crossing it out. So, I pressed the mute control to unmute the speakers, The diagonal line disappeared, but my ROKU remained silent. Oddly, the screen still displayed the headphones. I say oddly because I don't have headphones. I have earbuds, but I don't know where to plug them in. I don't know what could have triggered the ROKU to display the headphone.

I got to thinking and checked the connections in back of the ROKU and discovered that one end of a loose cord was plugged into a panel in he back of the ROKU. The other end wasn't connected to anything. I disconnected the wire and suddenly the sound was working again. I feel embarrassed to admit that I didn't check the connections panel first. Oh, well.
