@Boomarang,

Thank you for posting in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you contacting us regarding the issue with your Philips Roku TV, where the screen unexpectedly turns dark blue. We understand this can be an inconvenient experience, and we are here to help.

Are all cables firmly plugged in? Is your TV able to exit "wake up" mode?

Troubleshooting:

  • Please check the power cord/outlet to ensure the device is getting power
  • Check the input that they are trying to watch on
  • Check video cables to ensure they are firmly connected
  • If you're able to access settings, have them make sure that:
        1. TV can "wake up"
        2. HDMI-CEC is enabled on the TV
  • If the problem persists,  do a factory reset on the TV.

For more detailed information, please check here: How to restart or factory reset your Roku streaming device.

Thanks again for reaching out. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Cheers,
