Onn RokuTV does not send wake signal to Soundbar after sleep.

Jump to solution

I believe this is a software issue. Not a major one. I am currently using Roku OS ver: 13.1.4 Build:1512-CT on a 55" onn. RokuTV model: 100012586. Hardware: G813X Serial: X01200LA08JA  Same issue on past versions. When the RokuTV goes to sleep it tells the soundbar to sleep. When RokuTV wakes it does not tell the soundbar to wake, no wake signal. I have to power off RokuTV and power on in order to use my soundbar again otherwise it just sees the soundbar as disconnected. Thank you.

Hi @Indianajones,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you've encountered with your ONN Roku TV. We suggest unplugging and replugging your Roku TV with the soundbar in this case.

Also, we recommend restarting your Roku device from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).

Please keep us posted on what you find out, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

All the best,
Chel
