Onn Roku TV turns off seconds after it's powered on
My son has an Onn Roku TV turns off seconds after it's powered on every time, I tried unplugging it and waiting and then plugging it back in later to see if it's a power issue and nothing so far as fixed it I'm trying to remove it to other outlets, I've tried very quickly getting into the settings to reset it and I don't have time to before it shuts off It comes on with the pictures perfectly fine but then seconds later it just turns itself off we have a Roku devices and every bedroom in our house and the living room and none of the other one have this issue and we've had Roku devices for over a decade but no problems other than the last update messing up two of them connecting through the Wi-Fi but we found the temporary solution to that until they make an update that fixes it please help.

Re: Onn Roku TV turns off seconds after it's powered on
Sounds like you have a power board issue within the TV. (hardware issue).
Likely a bad capacitor or solder connection.

Re: Onn Roku TV turns off seconds after it's powered on
I started having the exact same issue starting today. We have had our TV for 3+ years I believe and never had any issues prior to today. I was not able to use the TV remote, every time I press a button the TV will immediately power off, but not fully power off (the red light does not turn off). I was able to control the TV successfully through the Roku app on my phone, but once I did a factory reset getting into the settings using my phone, I now cannot use my phone at all because of the reset, or use the TV remote enter my WiFi password to reconnnect because it powers off every time I press a button on the TV remote. I changed the batteries in my remote just in case. I have unplugged it twice and replugged it in with no success. I unplugged it from the wall outlet one more time to leave it off for a longer period, and then I will try again one more time, but I’m not hopeful this will work.
If this doesn’t work, what is the best method to directly contact Roku regarding an Onn. TV and this issue?

Re: Onn Roku TV turns off seconds after it's powered on
@PowellK, don't bother contacting Roku - they'll just tell you try a factory reset and then point you to onn. onn will tell you that your TV is no longer under warranty and probably tell you to contact Roku. Assuming there's something wrong with the remote sending some strange command no matter what button is pressed, try another remote. Many cheap universal remotes support Roku TVs or you could try the Roku TV remote for 10 bucks:

By the way, on all of my (non-onn) TVs, the red light comes on when the power is turned off.
