I just bought a new 65” Onn Roku TV and set everything up. About 5-10 minutes after watching TV it froze and gets stuck in reboot like I initially turned it on, then a pop comes from the speaker and the screen goes black and back to the initial Onn Roku TV screen. I’m not sure what’s going on and I don’t want to have to return it and swap it out with another one. If anyone has any idea what’s happening or how to fix it to save me time from doing that, it’s greatly appreciated!
Hi, @at5!
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
We noticed your recent post about an issue with your Onn Roku TV, where it suddenly rebooted after 5-10 minutes. No need to worry; we are here to assist you in sorting out this issue. To begin, we require more information about this problem on your Onn Roku TV. You mentioned that it froze while watching a movie; we may inquire if multiple channels are affected. Additionally, do you have any other Roku devices experiencing the same issue? Lastly, what troubleshooting steps have you taken thus far?
Kindly attempt these troubleshooting steps to see if they help.
Note: To improve your internet connection, try to reboot your WIFI router by unplugging it from the power outlet for at least 15 seconds.
Regards,
Elmer
It freezes on every app and shuts off, then gets stuck trying to turn back on then shuts off again and repeats the process. I tried restarting it through the system, factory resetting to see if that was the issue, plugged it into a different outlet, and it still does the same thing
Hi, @at5!
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. We appreciate your efforts in bringing this to our attention.
Based on the details you provided, the problem seems to be related to connectivity. To resolve this, please check the stability and performance of your Wi-Fi connection, as fluctuations in speed or signal strength can cause delays. Make sure your network connection is strong enough to support multiple devices.
You can try resetting your TV network by accessing the system settings.
Note: Before proceeding with these troubleshooting steps, please make sure that you know your network name and password.
For additional options and detailed information, please refer to the support page. How to fix internet errors and issues on your Roku streaming device/TV
If the issue still persists, you can try to establish a connection using another network, such as a Mobile hotspot.
There are two options for using a Mobile hotspot.
Let us know if this step will make any difference.
Thanks,
Elmer
I have the same issue! 75in ONN Roku TV. Please help! I have tried 2 Factory Resets, multiple restarts, Network Resets, different power outlets, etc.
My TV turns on, but then when I try to launch Netflix or Disney + it allows me to select my show or movie but when I press play the TV immediately turns off. And will not turn back on successfully for some minutes. Very frustrating. Just purchased this TV 2 months ago brand new.
@Abe30, if it's only two months old, you should investigate a warranty replacement from onn.

I have unplugged mine twice and it won't stop the reboot screen to even get to the home screen. It's in a continuous reboot. It has stopped even responding the the remote.

1. It's an Onn Roku TV.
2. The rebooting started Monday, Sept 23 in the middle of the night.
3. I have 2 other Onn Roku TV's in the house, it's the only one doing it. No network changes or connection issues.
4. Troubleshooting: unplugged, held reset button 20 seconds, plugged in while holding reset, held reset and power button 20 seconds. It's still in a continuous reboot.
The remote won't stop it, the power button won't stop it. I changed outlets. I've left the TV unplugged for several hours, I left it plugged in and rebooting for several hours. The TV won't even turn off.
Thanks for the response, @Belkatem.
In this case, kindly provide us with the following information so we can send your device's information in the process of investigation:
